But Max George seemed to have moved on from the controversial incident as he posed up a storm in a festive-themed photoshoot with his The Wanted bandmates.
The 24-year-old singer looked every inch the Christmas cutie as he donned a fun Yuletide sweater in the shoot for Esquire magazine.

Playing with Christmas toys and pulling crackers with each other, the boyband looked as though they had certainly thrown themselves into the festive spirit.
The shoot comes just days after Max - who split from his fiancee, Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, in August - unwittingly found himself at the centre of a spat between troubled Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan and Florida psychic, Tiffany Eve Mitchell.

The flame-haired star is said to have a crush on Max, and attempted to get backstage to see the hunk after his chart-topping band supported Justin Bieber in a gig at Madison Square Gardens.
But the evening descended into chaos when Max allegedly started chatting to another woman - not married Mitchell - which is said to have riled Lohan.
A source told MailOnline: 'Max is a single guy, he is flirtatious, and a lot of women find him attractive. He's free to play around.'
And the boyband star seemed to confirm the rumours on Thursday morning, writing on his Twitter page: 'Eventful night.'
Lohan, 26, and a friend joined Max and his bandmates Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker at the club.
Apparently a fight broke out near where a riled Lohan, Max and the Mitchells were partying - and it is not yet clear how it involved The Wanted singer.
But Mitchell's husband Wayne Stevens told MailOnline outside their Upper East Side home: 'We didn't know it was Lindsay Lohan and it just kind of escalated because someone else had a brawl out in there.'
When asked about Max George, Stevens said: 'I could see there was something else going on, but we had nothing to do with it. We were just caught up in something that was nothing to do with us.'
